Shenandoah Lodge Intimate Virginia Wedding

The Shenandoah Lodge did it again! A team of amazing vendors came together with the sweetest couple for an intimate Friday night wedding. Meghan and Corbin’s focus on the details and keeping it intimate allowed for special moments with their favorite people. Meghan shared in the cutest First Look with her dad, who had the best facial expressions. Which then prepared her for a First Look with her husband-to-be, who too was equally in awe of her. The fun didn’t stop there, Meghan then did a First Look with her wedding party and those smiles were priceless. Above all, there is something special about the flower girls seeing the bride dressed in her princess gown.

The lake in the background with white puffy clouds in the sky providing shade in June was better than anyone could plan. Their officiant, a family friend was hands-down the best! She caught me off guard but in the best way possible. The ceremony started by welcoming everyone to the wedding and introducing me as the photographer. She shared that I was there to capture all of the sweet moments and ask that every guest put their phone away. In addition, the officiant continued with football puns and kept us all laughing.

Megan and Corbin‘s cocktail hour and reception were held in the garden. Similarly, the puffy clouds and beautiful temperature continued as they danced the night away under the Edison bulbs and stars. The first dances with Corbin’s mom and Meghan’s dad were theatrical but so so special. The cake was beautiful and delicious. The front was decorated with florals however on the back, the top and bottom layer held the state they were from and the middle was where they are now, Virginia. Above all, these two were married, their friends there to celebrate and the day could not have been any more perfect.
