Mt. Defiance Middleburg Winter Wedding

Mt. Defiance Cider Barn in Middleburg, Virginia was perfect for Laura and Dio’s Winter wedding. These two lovers of winter and a mutual love of purple had their wedding dreams come to reality. Although there was a risk for cold temperatures planning a wedding in February, Laura and Dio knew the love amongst their family and the warmth these two bring to any room would make for the perfect wedding day. Surprisingly, Laura even had her heart set on snow making an appearance and it did just that. The morning started with a romantic snow flurry while they were getting ready for their big day!

These two are the sweetest, most genuinely kind, caring, compassionate people and it was echoed by all of their vendors, family and friends. So many personal touches made their wedding day perfect for them. Happy tears began while getting ready in matching embroidered pajamas with many moments where we had to say “look up,” to not ruin their makeup. The tears continued at their first look, but the tears really began when Laura began gift giving. Laura gifted her dad a handkerchief with am embroidered message and then Dio a pin to wear of his late mother! These two had me in tears because I felt all of the love and emotion from these two.

Above all, Laura and Dio’s day was PERFECT. They sprinkled in subtle hints of purple, from Dio’s wedding band, the bridesmaid dresses and decor to highlight their love for purple. They choose neutral decor because the barn itself is warm, inviting and gorgeous! After all of their planning and celebrating, these two are enjoying the views in Japan for their honeymoon and have a beautiful wedding day to start their marriage!
