It’s the new year which means new resolutions, goals, and big dreams. I’ve always heard that if you write down your goals then they are more likely to happen. So here goes nothing, my goals consist of photographing couples at these amazing venues. These are just some of my favorite, most admired venues in Virginia but there are so many others I would love to work with.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work at some of these venues and hope to work at them again. There you have it, I put my goals out there and written down. Here are a few of the venues that I follow on Instagram and would love to shoot at one day!
48 Fields
It’s been on my bucket list ever since I became a photographer. It is 4,500 square feet converted white dairy barn with casual elegance and modern amenities located in Leesburg. 48 Fields has everything a couple could want in one beautiful location.
Airlie VA
300 acres in Warrenton, Virginia’s countryside that transform wedding inspiration boards into big realities; rustic, vintage, bohemian, sophisticated and more!
Catesby Farm Estate
A beautiful 240-acre estate venue in Middleburg, VA with a manor house, greenhouse, school house, stone cottage and hunter’s lodge.
Rixey Manor
A pet friendly wedding venue in Rixeyville is a venue that speaks to my heart. It’s 1801 charm, mountain views, and lakes make for the perfect venue.
Rock Hill Plantation House
Southern charm and elegance located right in Stafford, Virginia. I’m in love with the big white porches and the brick walkways.
Here are a few wedding venues that I have already shot at, but would love the opportunity to go back to again!
Stone Tower Winery
Last year I got to second shoot a wedding at Stone Tower Winery with Audrey Rose Photography. This venue is GORGEOUS! It has the most beautiful getting ready houses and multiple locations for indoor and outdoor ceremonies with the most amazing views.
Shenandoah Lodge
Last year I got to second shoot a wedding at Shenandoah Lodge with Shannon Hodges Photography. It has everything a couple could ask for, lakeside lawn with Lake Frederick in the backdrop, a garden terrace, and a simple elegant event center a simple elegant event center.
The Middleburg Barn
Last year I got to second shoot a wedding at The Middleburg Barn with Thera VanDerveer Photography. It is the most elegant barn style wedding venue in Middleburg. It is a large space with many ways to set up the space for the perfect wedding. You can even get a horse for your bride and groom portraits.
These are the beautiful locations that I have had on my shooting wish list. I know some may be a reach but the skies the limit and they won’t happen unless I speak them into existence. Here’s to an amazing 2019 and hopefully some of these amazing dream wedding venues.
