Celebrations at the Bay Wedding

Celebrations at the Bay in Maryland is a stunning venue situated right on the water. Chloe and Vijay picked this venue for the waterfront views. Although it was an overcast rainy day, we captured magic on the water. A couple that is willing to brave the elements and temperature for photos is my kind of couple. Although we brought out the umbrellas these two still bundled up for a snuggle under the lights which is so romantic. Vijay’s cuff links, tie, and handkerchief were all a velvet green. Which was the perfect color palette for a December wedding. Add in Chloe’s white fur shaw which made for the timeless, classic affair these two were hoping for.

Their ceremony was short and sweet because they wanted to celebrate with their friends and family. They had a focus on good food, music, and a vibe all night long which they delivered on. They served all the infamous Maryland foods from steak and crab cakes to crab dip and a creamy cheese soup with shrimp. Their wedding cake was chocolate/vanilla marble cake with alternating tier of carrot cake, two classics. The real fun started when these two opened the dance floor and brought out light up glasses for everyone to wear while they danced!

Chloe and Vijay’s wedding was the perfect way to close out my 2023 wedding season. Above all, a celebration that I photographed a wedding at 33 weeks pregnant with my baby girl sidekick. My emotions got the best of me at the father-daughter dance, during open dancing, and as we were loading the car to head home. My sidekick won’t be with me next year when wedding season starts but I will try to squeeze her into some sessions. Above all, I am so thankful to be a part of my couples love story and don’t take that for granted. Here’s to another great couple and another great wedding season coming to a close!
