Anne Marie and Steve planned to get married last year at Bowling Green Country Club. However due to the pandemic and the limited guest count restrictions they decided to postpone. Luckily all of their amazing vendors were available for their new date. These two have dated for seven years with an extensive wedding planning season with the added year. Thankfully, although unknown what this year would bring, it allowed for them to have their 200+ guest count wedding of their dreams.
The ceremony was what they both looked forward to the most. Exchanging vows and FINALLY being married ranked high on the list. The day started off beautifully. The sun peeked out between the clouds while Anne Marie was getting into her dress. Her mom and bridesmaids were hopeful the impending rain would pass or come through after the reception started. However it didn’t quite go as planned.
Thankfully, Anne Marie and Steven opted for a First Look. This allowed for them to see one another prior to the ceremony. This selection in their photography timeline allowed for bride and groom portraits and wedding party photos. We were able to get all of those photos done not only before the ceremony but also before the rain. Unfortunately right as it was time for the ceremony the rain started coming in.
As a last minute decision, Anne Marie and Steve decided to move their ceremony indoors to keep all of the guests dry. Thankfully the amazing vendor team quickly adjusted the reception space to accommodate for an aisle and the rain plan took shape. Although the ceremony wasn’t what Anne Marie and Steve had hoped for, it was still absolutely perfect! Anne Marie said it best, sometimes you have find something positive in the negative.
Above all, Anne Marie and Steve married although the ceremony was indoors. And the pandemic delayed their wedding date, they were able to celebrate with the 200+ guests and purchased a home during the year wait. There is always an positive side, sometimes just harder to see sometimes. I am so glad that I could be available for the first and second date and for the amazing vendor team (listed below) who switched things up quickly and allowed everyone to stay dry!
