On Friday night I found myself sitting in the bleachers at Warren County High School wondering where time had gone?! How can I possibly be sitting at my middle (younger) brother’s high school graduation? It isn’t time yet!. He couldn’t have grown up this fast and right before my eyes. If anyone knows my brother, they know him as free-spirited, happy, fun, and loving guy. He doesn’t let much bother him and is always looking to have a good time. He is also 6 foot something and towers over me. He tends to use my shoulder as an arm rest because of how tall he is and before long I will be the shortest in my family. Hard to believe right? Considering I am 5′ 6 and I will be the shortest. Guess we just have tall genes in our family.
The white chairs lined the field and the stage was set. Friday was a very warm day, lots of humidity and the sun was shinning bright on us. I will never understand why bleachers are metal when sports are played in the summer and sun just beats on them, they get so hot! :-/
The ceremony started promptly at 6p.m. when they began their entrance onto the football field.
And included taking selfies on the way to the field. (Selfies were even mentioned in the valedictorian speech).
I was such a proud sister and photographer as I watched the senior class of 2014 make their entrance. My younger middle brother was graduating leaving me only one brother left in grad school (his elementary graduation is tomorrow…I think I might cry). I had multiple seniors graduating this year from my first year specializing in Senior Portraits. It was an honor and I couldn’t have been more proud of all the students graduating.
Miss Dominique as she walked into graduation as happy as could be! Thank you for being my first model, you are beautiful on the inside and out. I wish you all the best at Radford.
After the graduates arrived they began with the validictorian speech…let’s just say “WOW”
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to stay for the entire graduation ceremony because my husband was in a motorcycle accident (thank you everyone for your wells wishes, he is fine, just a sprained shoulder, thank god).
but I was able to capture a few photos while I was there. I hope you enjoyed these, there are additional photos on the Gallery (www.fotosbyfranzi.com -> “gallery”). Feel free to purchase any that you would like.
Congrats again to Warren County & Skyline Class of 2014 Graduates! Well wishes in your future!
