Kasey is graduating from James Madison University this coming weekend and I couldn’t be more happy for her. She is such a sweet young lady so when I was asked to travel to JMU for her senior and cap & gown photos I couldn’t say no. Not only is Kasey part of our family but I love getting the opportunity to photograph college graduates. I know the feeling of accomplishment and freedom that you have after working so hard on your degree. There are so many evenings and weekends devoted to homework and group projects, no sooner does one semester end you’re signing up for the next, but not this semester. Kasey is officially DONE! She has earned her Bachelor’s degree.

Kasey picked the perfect outfits, had beautiful weather, and had the most adorable boyfriend to include into her session. The architecture at JMU is stunning and the quad is by far my favorite place. It has everything from beautiful buildings, landscape, and white for the perfect reflector (a photographers dream). We had so much fun at Kasey’s session. Her boyfriend Brian came with there little pup, so of course we had to incorporate them both. Brian also graduated this year from Eastern Mennonite University so he had his cap & gown as well. We even got a bit silly toward the end with the cap & gown photos cause why not celebrate your accomplishments. Then we all went for Pizza at Bella Luna Wood-Fired Pizza! It was the best way to end the evening!
