Emily is a Class of 2022 VCU college graduate. She has been attending Virginia Commonwealth University for her Bachelor’s in Nursing. Emily will graduate next month after many classroom and clinical hours. She has been doing 12+ hour shifts learning and experiencing all that she can before she graduates.

After graduation Emily has already been placed into the University of Virginia’s Cardiologists ICU department. She shared some of the things she will be doing and let’s just say nursing/hospitals aren’t for me!

But Emily has always dreamed of attending UVA because it’s one of the top medical schools in Virginia however VCU was a better financial choice. Now she gets the best of both worlds, she attended VCU and will be working at UVA!

Emily is looking forward to working but also knows that more schooling and continued education is in her future. She wants to stay on top of her field but also advance in her career. I know whoever Emily comes into contact with personally or in her career will be taken care of because she is so friendly and warm. She always has a smile and is up for anything.
