Ashley said that Zach is her missing puzzle piece and I knew she was a #FranziLeeBride because that is how I felt about TJ when I met him. They met for the first time at Zach’s friend’s house and went on their first date shortly thereafter. They spent the night just riding around town and talking. Ashley knew Zach was the one when he accepted her niece as if she was his own. She knew then that he would be a great father and the man she wanted to marry.
Zach proposed to Ashley on November 25th, 2016 or “Black Friday” as Ashley put it. She was at work and always calls him when she gets off. She likes to tell him she is on her way home. This particular night he would not answer and it was worrying and upsetting her. As a women we know when something is up. Ashley had her suspicions but didn’t know what was going on. She knew Zach was with a friend and around 9:30 he finally came home. Zach’s friend got out of the car and walked to the house. Ashley didn’t think anything of it and walked outside. She was met with Zach down on one knee and of course she said YES!
Zach knew that Ashley has a big heart and loves the small things in life. For her birthday last year Zach gifted Ashley a necklace. The necklace came in a snap-on jewelry box. She loved the necklace but loved the box so much more. That statement speaks volumes to who Ashley is as a person. And Zach is so sweet to know the details are important.
These two compliment one another so well. They are laid back and enjoy the simple things in life. Their family, their dog, and one another are the most important things in their life! These two enjoy watching movies, comedies, not scary ones though and having family game nights! Ashley told me that her ideal date would be to pack up the dogs and get an RV for a road trip around the world. Watch out Zach, you might be shopping for a map and a RV soon!
