When your local movie theater, Royal Cinemas changes their sign for your couple, you know you live in an awesome town. Introducing the soon-to-be, Mr. and Mrs. Wright. Aireannah and Marquis are both in the United States Air Force and it’s how they met! Marquis was stationed in Germany while Aireannah was deployed there. They worked in the same office and chatted throughout the day until he finally asked her out on a date.
They enjoyed a dinner at a delicious burger place in a little town in Germany near the base. Marquis was late because he forgot to put on cologne, but Aireannah waited, thankfully. We will have to make sure that this doesn’t happen on their wedding day! After dinner they went and saw a movie, can’t remember the name of the movie because they were both so giddy. After the movie, Aireannah received a text message from Marquis asking her to promise him that that date wouldn’t be their last and it wasn’t!
Marquis and Aireannah officially started dating on January 24th, Aireannah’s birthday. As if the 24th wasn’t already special enough. Marquis planned his proposal for her birthday to make it even more special! In January of this year, they headed to Nashville for the weekend to celebrate Aireannah’s birthday with friends and family. Marquis and Aireannah took some time away from friends and family the night before her birthday for an “us night” and to celebrate.
They had a driver pick them up and take them to dinner where they had the best steak they each can recall. After dinner the driver recommend they see the passenger bride, so they went. It was cold in January and Aireannah didn’t really want to be outside. But Marquis convinced her to walk to the flat part of the bridge for the view. Little did she know that Marquis had planned the song, “At Last” to start playing as they neared a heart on the ground in flowers! The heart held an envelope that read, “How about we turn 4 years into forever,” which was all it took for Aireannah to start crying. She said yes, admired the ring and then realized that her family witnessed the proposal. Marquis didn’t leave any aspect untouched!
From the perfect proposal story to their stunning engagement session at Royal Cinemas and the Virginia Arboretum. I just know their wedding is going to be AMAZING! I can not wait for September at Bowling Green Country Club. These two exchange vows and dance the night away, because there will be dancing and lots of it!
