Elizabeth and Robbie celebrate their 5 year togetherness anniversary in July. Which made it the perfect time to do their engagement photos at Manassas National Battlefield. They were introduced through their best friends at a hookah bar and the rest is history. Elizabeth shared with me that they were friends for a few months before they officially dated. She was able to see the true person Robbie was/is and fell in love. Elizabeth said it was when a friend asked her if she could see herself marrying Robbie, and it didn’t take long to answer, “Yes, there was something about this guy I could see in my future.”
So on October 1st, 2016, these two went to Virginia Beach to see a sand castle making competition. It was Elizabeth’s graduation gift from dental hygiene school. They got an oceanfront room because Elizabeth likes to sit on the balcony and admire the water. Shortly after arriving Elizabeth was inevitably sitting on the balcony watching the water. She turned around to walk inside and there was Robbie down on one knee. He asked for her hand in marriage and Elizabeth said it was easiest answer she had ever given!
Elizabeth shared that Robbie has the biggest heart. He will do whatever it takes to make her happy and laugh, especially when he can see her anxiety start to take over and that was apparent at their engagement session. She was a bit nervous at first because she had never had her photos taken professionally, but Robbie had her giggling right from the start. Elizabeth and Robbie are so comfortable with one another and I can not wait for their intimate wedding next year at The Winery at La Grange.
