Handley Library in Winchester is one of my all time favorite engagement session locations! The building is historic with so much character. It gives me Washington DC or Parisian vibes with the columns, marble, green top and detail. Amelia selected the library for her engagement session for those same reasons and because she is a local to downtown Winchester!
Amelia and Kenny don’t live in Virginia so when they made a trip north for final wedding planning, we snuck in their engagement session. It only happened to be one of the coldest afternoons with high winds, thank you Mother Nature. Although we just barely survived with all of our fingers and toes in tact, it was fun chatting about Apple Blossom. Amelia’s parents live on the Apple Blossom parade route and host a large annual event to celebrate. It’s a tradition Amelia recalls all of her life. She told me of how her mom went all out and did all the things to host a large group of friends and family.
Above all, I know with their Apple Blossom hosting experience, wedding planning is a breeze. I can’t wait for Amelia and Kenny’s wedding in just a few short weeks!
