The Front Royal Golf Club was the perfect location for Ashley & Steve’s engagement session. I know I say this all the time but these two are the cutest. Ashley shared with me that when she was younger, Ashley’s father would take her golfing to let her drive the golf cart. It was so sweet to image little Ashley zooming around on the very course she was having photos taken with her future husband.
Steve is from Pennsylvania and after graduating high school was accepted at Virginia Tech. He would later find out that this was the best decision of his life. At a mutual friends house party Steve was introduced to Ashley, who also was attending Virginia Tech. Ashley said that Steve was shy and they didn’t talk much. They exchanged the standard meeting conversation but both were interested. They eventually went on a date to see a movie and became boyfriend and girlfriend!
It didn’t take long for these two to know they wanted to spend forever together. Steve planned the perfect proposal down to having it photographed! Ashley & Steve had invited their friends and family over for a Hokie event, unbeknownst to Ashley the real agenda. Steve had gathered them and her parents for a group photo and got down on one knee and proposed! She of course said yes! They have the most adorable photos of their proposal and the wedding planning began.
Ashley and Steve will be exchanging vows next year at Bowling Green Country Club and I can’t wait to spend the day with them as their third wheel!
