I am biased but this anniversary session is adorable! This is my brother and his girlfriend. They just celebrated their five year togetherness anniversary! JC and Katie have been together since they were teenagers and I just love this! They support one another through college courses, working full-time, and being states apart!
These two met in Front Royal but a few years ago Katie moved to Florida with her family. That hasn’t stopped these two from being together. They crush the long distance relationship thing. I don’t know if I could do it but they make it work. They each make multiple trips to visit one another throughout the year. Most of the trips are tied around a holiday to celebrate together. But one of the trips is always an anniversary trip to celebrate when they started dating.
It’s been five years now and I have had these two in front of my camera three of the five years! I love that they have started the tradition of getting annual photos done and honored that they choose me to capture them. This tradition is special to my heart because TJ and I do the same thing and my little brother is following in my footsteps.
I am in awe of these two living hundreds of miles apart but making it work. The way they support one another through lives challenges and the way they look at one another after months apart! Happy 5th togetherness anniversary and many more!
