Bowling Green Country Club did it again! Introducing the newest Mr. and Mrs. Baltimore! Kelsey and Jerrius are FINALLY married. I have known Kelsey and her family for many years now, before Jerrius. Therefore, I have watched Kelsey go from being a high school senior, to a college student, then a college graduate, all while going from being single, to in a relationship, engaged and now married. These two are high school sweethearts. My first opportunity to see these two together was for their high school prom. You could tell then that these two were mature for their age and their relationship was ready to stand the test of time.
However, the first obstacle they faced was college in two different states. Kelsey went to West Virginia University while Jerrius attended Shenandoah University. However, they each graduated with their Bachelor’s degree a week apart and only 3 short weeks before their wedding. Therefore, these two have a lot to celebrate and their wedding was the perfect celebration event. Kelsey and Jerrius had the best of both worlds at Bowling Green, holding their ceremony at the North Ballroom with the reception to follow at the South Ballroom.
From the moment Kelsey and Jerrius were announced husband and wife, their friends and family were ready to dance the night away. They were a lively bunch full of the best dances moves from the adults to the little kids. But the dance floor did open a handful of times for special dances that even put tears in my eyes. Kelsey shared a special dance with her dad to the same song I danced with my dad, “My Little Girl by Tim McGraw.” While Jerrius dedicated, “A Song for Momma” by Boyz II Men which had his mom instantly in tears. At one point, all Jerrius siblings joined the danced to celebrate their mother. I love personal sentiments like this, because they make wedding days so special.
Above all, Kelsey and Jerrius are a power couple who will accomplish anything they put their minds too. I am excited to watch as this adventure unfolds for them and this new season of life starts. I know they will each be the best husband and wife they can be. In other words, the future is bright and I wish you many years of love and happiness!
