Macie is a Warren County High School class of 2018 senior and is the sweetest person ever with an adorable smile. Macie and I met many years ago at a softball tournament. It was a cold day and they didn’t do well. However, all of the girls had such great attitudes about the game. We stayed connected throughout the years for homecomings, proms, and now finally Macie’s senior photos! Macie and I met in Downtown Front Royal to explore the old town charm. We wanted to incorporate the buildings and color of our hometown area.
Macie is a real catch. She is not only beautiful, but athletic and smart. She is on the Academic Team, Warren County Band, National Honor Society and Interact Club. Her favorite senior memory so far was her first marching band competition. Macie wants to be an Anthropologist when she grows up which aligns with one of her favorite subjects, AP Human Geography. For those like me that probably didn’t know, an anthropologist studies various aspects of humans within the past and present societies. Macie’s other favorite subject is English which will help when she does research for her career.
Here are some of Macie’s favorites:
- Books: Catcher in the Rye, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, The Art of Racing in the Rain
- Bands: Young the Giant, Kings of Leon, Harry Styles, The Kooks, Fleetwood Mac
- Candy/Snack: Chocolate covered pretzels, Strawberries, Snickerdoodle cookies
Macie has her sight set on attending a number of elite colleges in the Fall after graduation. Above all, she has her heart set on one in particular, the University of Virginia. She hopes to hear she is accepted in April and the anticipation is thick. She has submitted all of her applications and now simply must wait. Please cross your fingers for her! I know she will accomplish all of her goals, dreams, and aspirations. She will be amazing at anything and everything she sets her mind too!
